Obituary of Dorothy Staight

Dorothy Patricia Staight of Eugene died on March 26, 2010 of age-related causes. She was 82 years old, and she kept her sense of humor until the end. Dorothy was born in Vernonia, Oregon on December 22, 1927 to James and Myrtie Rose. She married Paul Staight on April 17, 1948 in Portland, Oregon, and they spent 62 years together. She was a homemaker who loved to read, golf, garden and spend time with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Paul; her brother Mance Rose; her five children, Jack Greenwood, Christine Staight, Rebecca Staight-Stratton, Paula Staight and James Staight; eight grand-children and eight great grand-children.
