Grace CookeThe funeral will be held at noon March 27 at Howerton Bryan Funeral Home in Durham, N.C., for Grace R. Cooke of Eugene, who died March 15 of age-related causes. She was 99.Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon March 26 at the funeral home.She was born Oct. 23, 1910, in Hillsborough, N.C., to James and Ada Link Riley.She married Bennie Cooke on June 9, 1934, in Durham, N.C. He died May 3, 1990.She attended Duke University for one year. She was a homemaker.Survivors include a daughter, Judy Moseley of Eugene; a brother, Gerald Riley of Durham; a sister, Susan Johnson of Hillsborough; and three grandchildren.Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery in Durham, N.C.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
