Mark UnruhThe graveside funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 27, at Belcrest Memorial Park in Salem for Mark Lamont Unruh of Eu-gene, who died March 19 of pancreatic cancer. He was 38.He was born Dec. 17, 1971, in Eugene to Richard and Carole Unruh. He graduated from high school in Huntington Beach, Calif., and served in the Job Corps.Survivors include two sisters, Jodi Unruh Zartman of Eugene and Julie Ireland of Queensland, Australia.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to the American Cancer Society or ShelterCare.Mark died on March 19, 2010 with the same dignity, grace and strength that his beloved father showed when he passed away of cancer in 1991. Mark was 38 years old, when pancreatic cancer swiftly took his life in less than a month. Born December 17, 1971 in Eugene to Richard and Carole Unruh, he attended high school at Winston Churchill High School and in Huntington Beach, CA, before graduating from Job Corp. in Oregon. As a guitar player, Mark will be remembered for his love of music, aviation, and devotion to family. Survivors include his sister, Julie Ireland and her husband Jack, and their children Trevor, Chiana, Amelia and Blake of Mooloolaba, Australia; and sister, Jodi Unruh Zartman and her husband Greg, and their children Kirstin, Marissa, and Jada of Eugene. A graveside service and reception will be held March 27th at Belcrest Memorial Park in Salem, OR at 11 a.m. Mark's legacy as a brilliant mind and gentle, kind spirit will live on in all of our hearts.
