Obituary of Jean McClellan

JUNCTION CITY — Jean Phyllis McClellan of Junction City died April 2 of age-related causes. She was 87. No service is planned.She was born May 21, 1923, in Hamilton, Ohio, to Raymond and Ermalene Swartzel McClellan.She graduated from Fairfield High School in Ohio, held a bachelor’s degree from Miami University in Ohio and held a master’s degree from the University of Oregon. She worked as a teacher in Ohio and retired from the Eugene School District.Survivors include three sisters, Nancy McLellan of Junction City, Iris Tiedt of Petaluma, Calif., and Marian Skorupa of Portland.Inurnment will be in Trenton, Ohio. Arrangements by Murphy-Musgrove Funeral Home in Junction City. Remembrances to United Methodist Committee on Relief.
