Obituary of Julia Hughes

The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 2, at Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene for Julia Ann “Junebug” Hughes of Eugene, who died March 29 of age-related causes. She was 75.She was born Nov. 28, 1934, in Junction City to Virgil and Ruth James Tracer. She married David Hughes on Oct. 10, 1953, in Harrisburg. He died previously.She was a homemaker.Survivors include two daughters, Joan Dover of Philomath and Charlotte Hughes of Eugene; a son, David of Eugene; five sisters, Marjorie Wygle of Junction City, Annette Keller of La Pine, Arleta Hendrix of Bend and Delories Webb and Gayle Walker, both of Springfield; four brothers, Chris Tracer of Springfield, Virgil Tracer of Pleasant Hill, Sam Tracer of Veneta and Henry Tracer of Junction City; 10 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.A daughter, Ann Marie Hughes, died previously.Arrangements by Major Family Funeral Home in Springfield.
