Obituary of Everett French

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 10, at St. Alice Catholic Church in Springfield for Everett C. French of Springfield, who died April 2 of age-related causes. He was 91.He was born Feb. 11, 1919, in Beaverton, Mich., to William and Sylvia Snyder French. He married Barbara Burtts on April 30, 1986, in Winnemucca, Nev.He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a sales representative for several companies and retired in 1992.Survivors include his wife; two stepsons, Michael Keppers of Ashland and David Arterburn of Des Moines, Iowa; a stepdaughter, Robin Ramone of Port Angeles, Wash.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.Arrangements by Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Springfield.
