Obituary of Helen Hutchison

The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 13, at West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene for Helen Frances Hutchison of Eugene, who died April 8 of age-related causes. She was 86. Burial be on Wednesday, April 14, at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.She was born April 14, 1923, in Denver, to Robert Hill and Nina Squires Golden. She married Joseph Hutchison Sr. on June 4, 1947, in Littleton, Colo.She attended school in Tulsa, Okla., and Denver. She was a riveter, worked in the Denver Public Schools and for the U.S. Geological Survey.Survivors include two sons, Joseph Jr. of Indian Hills, Colo., and David of Eugene; one brother, William Hill of Stayton; and four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
