Obituary of Louise Lafertt

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 15, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ Danebo chapel for Louise B. Laferty of Eugene, who died April 10 of age-related causes at age 82. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.She was born July 25, 1927, in Escalante, Utah, to Glen and Hazel Williams King. She married Raymond Russell Laferty on Dec. 22, 1967, in Eugene.She graduated from Bend High School in 1944 and attended nursing school. She did clerical work and floral design, retiring in 1993.Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Cyndy Sparks and Wendy Henkaline, both of Eugene, and Gayle Spaid of Junction City; a sister, Roma Bennett of Portland; and 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
