Obituary of Shirley Paulson

ALVADORE — The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 15, at Alvadore Christian Church for Shirley Lucille Paulson of Alvadore, who died April 11 after a stroke. She was 73.She was born June 12, 1936, in Skedee, Okla., to William and Illda Lancaster Colvin. She married Kenneth Paulson on March 12, 1966, in Portland.She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Portland. She worked as a payroll clerk and bookkeeper for Montgomery Ward in Portland for 13 years. Locally, she worked in setup and distribution for FOOD for Lane County.Survivors include her husband; a son, Kenneth Jr. of St. Maries, Idaho; a brother, Leroy Colvin of Portland; and four grandchildren.Burial will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland. Arrangements by Murphy-Musgrove Funeral Home in Junction City. Remembrances to FOOD for Lane County.
