Obituary of Irene Massey

JUNCTION CITY — Irene Massey of Junction City died April 15 of congestive heart failure at age 91.She was born May 25, 1918, in Crowville, La., to N. and Eula Lowry Harrell. She married George Massey in 1936, in Louisiana. He died in the early 1990s.A high school graduate, she worked as a seamstress.Survivors include a son, Donald of Cave Junction; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Two sons, George Massey Jr. and Doug Massey, died previously.A private family inurnment is planned. Arrangements by Murphy-Musgrove Funeral Home in Junction City.
