Obituary of Loren McDowell

Loren W. McDowell of Eugene died April 16 of age-related causes. He was 82. A family graveside service is planned.He was born Aug. 31, 1927, in Lake Worth, Fla., to Christopher and Janie Maddox McDowell. He married Rebecca Henderson in 1953 in Florida; they later divorced.He re-ceived his education at Claremont High School. He served in the Army and worked for Lane County Solid Waste and Christenson Well Drilling.Burial will be at Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene.
