Obituary of Anton Braun
The funeral will be held at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Eugene for Anton Faustinus Braun of Eugene, who died April 15 of age-related causes. He was 87. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday at West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene.He was born July 15, 1922, in Strawsburg, N.D., to Fausinus and Mirianna Betsch Braun.He and his wife, Ann, were married April 21, 1945.He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean war. He worked in the lumber industry.Survivors include his wife; two sons, Gerald of Veneta and Thomas of Eugene; a daughter, Mary Ann Bowman of Issaquah, Wash.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A son, Richard Brown, died previously.Burial will be at West Lawn Memorial Park. Remembrances to Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend.
