Obituary of Ricky Jones

memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 25, at Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home for Ricky L. Jones of Marcola, who died April 20 of heart failure. He was 63.He was born Feb. 7, 1947, in Eugene to William and Lillian Dahle Jones. He married Lynda Bray on Aug. 30, 1969, in Marcola. They divorced in 1979. He married Judy Carlson Bryant on June 30, 1981, in Virginia City, Nev.Jones graduated from Marcola High School in 1965. He served in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1968. He worked at Zip O Log mills for 30 years.Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jason of Salem and Toby of Dallas, Texas; two stepdaughters, Brandi Ladd of Cottage Grove and Tami Bryant of Bend; a stepson, Shawn Bryant of Riddle; a sister, Suzanne Cosby of Springfield; and 11 grandchildren.Burial with military honors will follow the service at Springfield Memorial Gardens.
