Obituary of Daniel Kirkpatrick

Daniel KirkpatrickA celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. April 24 at 3570 Ash St., North Bend, for Daniel “Dan” Kirkpatrick of Eugene, who died April 5 of age-related causes. He was 82.He was born June 23, 1927, in Prospect. He married Elizabeth “Betty” Wallace on July 27, 1945. They divorced Feb. 27, 1951. He married Elsie Haug on July 22, 1951. She died July 28, 2007.He graduated from South Fork Union High School in Miranda, Calif., in 1945. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps at Sheppard Field in Texas and Geiger Field in Spokane. He worked in the timber industry.Survivors include a son, Larry of Eugene; and two grandchildren.Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in Coos Bay.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.Remembrances to South Coast Hospice.
