Obituary of Doris Brownrigg

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 1, at Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home for Doris Lillian Brownrigg of Springfield, who died April 25 of age-related causes. She was 88.A reception will follow at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Springfield Elks Lodge.She was born June 12, 1921, in Boise to Leo and Agnes Davis Thompson. She married Donald Brownrigg on Dec. 29, 1941, in Springfield.She graduated from Franklin High School in Boise. She worked as a seamstress, mended hosiery during World War II and was a painter.Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Sharon Rosa of Miami Springs, Fla., and Donna Muffley of Milwaukee; a sister, Leola Rolly of Springfield; two granddaughters; and seven great-grandchildren.Burial will be at Springfield Memorial Gardens.
