Obituary of Bonnie Swanson

Bonnie SwansonA celebration of life will be held later for Bonnie Swanson of Eugene, who died April 30 of age-related causes at age 80. A private family inurnment was held.She was born Feb. 4, 1930, in Friendship, Maine, to Arthur and Lorna Cushman Lewis. She married Ernest Nels Swanson in November 1950, in Tenants Harbor, Maine. He died in November 1986.She worked as a processor in the fishing industry.Survivors include three daughters, Lorna Tucker and Jill Stone, both of Spruce Head, Maine, and Kimberley Bomark of Veneta; two sons, Jack of Centralia, Wash., and Rusty of Harrisburg; three sisters, Deanie Tarbox, Mona Johnson and Sandra Hyvarinen, all of Spruce Head; a brother, Sheridan Lewis of Spruce Head; and seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A daughter, Wilma Swanson, died in 1968.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to Eugene Mission.
