Obituary of Darhl Davis

Darhl DavisInurnment will be at 1 p.m. Friday, May 7, at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland for Darhl K. Davis of Eugene, who died April 27 of age-related causes. He was 81.He was born July 19, 1928, in Eugene to Charles and Jessica Coe Davis. He married Janne Bosserman on Aug. 26, 1951, in Portland.He attended the University of Oregon from 1948 to 1952. He served in the Navy during World War II and the Korean conflict. He worked for IBM, writing computer programs for law offices and military. He also wrote accounting programs for Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. and for Hydril Co., where he was assistant to the company president.Survivors include his wife; two sons, Michael and Peter, both of Eugene; two daughters, Terry McLaughlin of Eureka, Calif., and Kathy Ward of Klamath Falls; a sister, Carole August of Sacramento; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
