A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. May 4 at Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene for Dorothy M. Dailey of Creswell, who died April 14 of age-related causes. She was 83.She was born Nov. 25, 1926, in Gorman, S.D., to Henry and Violet Bevers Giedd. She was married to Raymond Cross from 1945 to 1966. She married Duane Dailey on June 30, 1980, in Reno, Nev. He died June 16, 2006.She earned a diploma in practical nursing from Oregon Technical Institute in Klamath Falls in 1959. She was a licensed practical nurse at Sacred Heart General Hospital from 1959 to 1961, and a housekeeper at Lomo Linda Lodge in Blue River from 1970 to 1980.Survivors include two daughters, Cathaline Fielding of Creswell and Juanita Lang of Elmira; a son, Raymond Cross of Florence; a sister, Violet Bowen of Veneta; six grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. Her first husband, Raymond Cross, died previously.Arrangements by West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene. Remembrances to Cascade Hospice.
