Obituary of Bessie McCabe

Bessie M. McCabe-Toler of Eugene died May 1 of age-related causes at age 85.She was born Sept. 18, 1924, in Galena, Kan., to Robert and Nina Culver Toler. She married Thomas McCabe in Eugene in 1974. He died on Dec. 11, 1980.She worked as a waitress and apartment manager in Nevada, California and Oregon.Survivors include a brother, Virgil of Eugene; a sister, Leona Jones of Eugene; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren. A son, Vern Ray Boley, died previously.Inurnment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Eugene. Arrangements by Chapel of Memories in Eugene
