Obituary of Mildred Hardy

Mildred HardyMildred Louise Hardy of Eugene died May 8 of cancer. She was 85. A private memorial service was held.She was born Jan. 30, 1925, in Stillwater, Okla., to Charles and Elizabeth Lunsford Kite. She married James Hardy in March 1946, in Perkins, Okla. He died in 1999.She graduated from Stillwater High School in Oklahoma in 1944. She was a homemaker.Survivors include a daughter, Carol Henning of Eugene; a son, Jim of Keizer; a brother, Wayne Kite of Mount Vernon, Wash.; a sister, Wanda Sloan of Stillwater; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.Burial will be at Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene.
