Obituary of Larry Newell

A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. today, May 7, at Santa Clara Church of Christ for Larry Dean Newell of Eugene, who died May 4 of heart-related illness at age 67.He was born March 28, 1943, in Lebanon, Mo., to Clarence and Iva Massey Newell. He married Rama Williams on Dec. 5, 1964, in Las Vegas.He worked as a general manager, instructor and motor winder at M&N Electric.Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Tracie Stangle of Bend, Pennie Harding of Eugene and Dena Manley of Brookings; two sons, Rich and Randy, both of Eugene; a sister, Irene Block of Bakersfield, Calif.; and 16 grandchildren.Arrangements by West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene.
