JUNCTION CITY — The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 10, at Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene for Gary Anthony Francois of Junction City, who died May 6 at age 61. The family chose not to list the cause of death. Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.He was born July 30, 1948, in Eugene to Lee and Alice Byers Kragenbring. He married Genevieve Long on April 3, 1976, in Salem.He attended Lane Community College in Eugene. He served in the Army in Vietnam from April 1968 to February 1970.Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Dawn Jones of Eugene and Christine Jones and Nicole Francois Bergstron, both of Junction City; his parents, now of Junction City; and one grandchild.Entombment will be at Lane Memorial Gardens. Remembrances to Greenhill Humane Society.
