Obituary of Suaffa Loa

Suafa LoaSPRINGFIELD — A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, at Eternal Hills Memorial Park in Oceanside, Calif., for Suafa Margie Loa of Springfield, who died May 6 of heart disease. She was 84.She was born April 19, 1926, in Faga gea gea, Samoa, to Ioane and Selulu Toluao. She married Savelio Milliogea Aetonu Loa in 1942 in Pago Pago, Samoa. He died May 6. 1970.She was a homemaker.Survivors include two sons, Sagato of Long Beach, Calif., and Falaniko of North Hollywood, Calif.; three daughters, Fa’a Loa of Springfield, Leolofisa Loa of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, and Josephine Silva of Pearl City, Hawaii; a brother, Seu Toluao of Pava’iai’, Samoa; three sisters, Lofi Tavini of Pava’iai’, Samoa, Vailupe Tuilagi of Faga gea gea, Samoa, and Totoa Pedro of Olympia, Wash.; 17 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren. Three children, Savelio Loa Jr., Clarence Loa and Falanika T. Loa, died previously.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
