Obituary of Edna Eklof

Edna EklofA memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on July 17 at Grace Lutheran Church in Eugene for Edna Dale Eklof of Portland, formerly of Lane County, who died May 2 of age-related causes at age 88.She was born June 27, 1921, in Rocky Ford, Colo., to Walter and Ella Kirkpatrick Dale. She married Clarence Eklof on Nov. 1, 1942, in Medford. He died Nov. 8, 1989.She received her nursing degree from French Hospital in San Francisco. She worked as a registered nurse at Medford Hospital and at Student Health Services at the University of Oregon.Survivors include a son, Cary of Redmond, Wash.; a daughter, Suzan Campbell of Portland; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.Arrangements by England’s Eugene Memorial Chapel.
