Obituary of Velma Bevard

Velma Irene Bevard of Eugene died May 16 of cancer at age 82. A family celebration of life will be later.She was born Aug. 31, 1927, in Swea City, Iowa, to August and Helen Anderson Olson. She married Stephen E. Bevard on Sept. 4, 1947, in Elmore, Minn. He died in April 1987.She was a homemaker.Survivors include a daughter, Stephanie Con-vey of Cottage Grove. A son, David Bevard, died previously.Burial will be at Lane Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene. Remembrances to Sacred Heart Hospice.
