Obituary of William Robinson

A private service will be held for William J. Robinson of Eugene, who died May 17 of age-related causes at age 91. Inurnment will be at West Lawn Memorial Park in Eugene.He was born Feb. 21, 1919, in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, to Charles and Abigail Robinson. He and his wife, Doris, were married on June 12, 1947, in Rosetown, Saskatchewan.He completed high school in Regina, Saskatchewan. He served in the Canadian merchant marines during World War II. He worked for United Airlines for 34 years in reservations and ticketing, retiring in 1980 as reservation manager.Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Debbie Robinson of Cheshire; and a son, Donald of Noti.Remembrances to OSU Extension Service.
