Obituary of Carl Krumdieck

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 5, at Messiah Lutheran Church in Eugene for Carl Albert Krumdieck of Eugene, who died May 27 of Alzheimer’s disease. He was 88.He was born April 12, 1922, in Pharr, Texas, to Louis and Clara Krumdieck. He married Dorothy Kunkel on Nov. 4, 1950, in Eugene. He was a building contractor in the Eugene area for more than 40 years.Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Marilyn Krumdieck, Linda Hodgert and Terrie Duarte, all of Eugene, and Doris Grolbert of Portland; a son, Philip of Roseville, Calif.; four brothers; one sister; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.Arrangements by Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene.
