Obituary of Joyce Tolle

MONROE — A family gathering will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 5, at 33935 Row Road in Creswell for Joyce Delores Tolle of Monroe, who died June 1 of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. She was 68.She was born Aug. 2, 1941, in Greeley, Colo., to Dewey and Opal Myers Wardrip. She married Robert Vern Tolle on Dec. 25, 1957, in Coburg. He died June 30, 2001.She graduated from Springfield High School and attended Lane Community College. She was a homemaker.Survivors include a son, Gary of Eugene; her domestic partner of six years, Don Duncan; a brother, Melvin Wardrip of Junction City; two sisters, Judy Riggs and Cathy Montgomery, both of Creswell; three grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.Arrangements by Murphy-Musgrove Funeral Home in Junction City.
