Obituary of Gladys Dorsey

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 6, at Springfield Memorial Gardens for Gladys Arzelia Dorsey of Springfield, who died June 2 of age-related causes. She was 90.She was born March 15, 1920, in Albany, to Max and Arzelia Sprenger Hoflich. She married Arthur Dorsey on June 2, 1940, in Vancouver, Wash. He died on June 14, 2007.She graduated from Albany High School in 1938. She was a homemaker and worked for the 88 Cent Store and Moderne Studio.Survivors include two daughters, Linda Hutton of Sewanee, Tenn. and Gayla Halleman of Springfield; a son, Kenneth Dorsey of Fall Creek; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.Arrangements by Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.
