Obituary of Ruth Maine

Ruth MaineA celebration of life will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, June 11, at Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene for Ruth Kathleen “Pat” Maine of Eugene, who died May 28 of age-related causes. She was 86.She was born Nov. 13, 1923, in Pendleton to George and Mona Ervin Patterson. She married Richard Maine on July 12, 1943, in Vancouver, Wash. He died Nov. 14, 1980.She worked for 20 years at Sacred Heart Medical Center as a nursing assistant.Survivors include two sons, Ray and Russell, both of Eugene; a daughter, Kathy Bigham of Eugene; a sister, Barbara Mehrer of Canby; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.A son, Richard M. Maine, died previously.Remembrances to the Kidney Association or the American Cancer Society.
