Obituary of Muriel Fox

Muriel FoxA memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. June 17 at Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene for Muriel C. Fox of Eugene, who died June 2 of age-related causes. She was 86.She was born Nov. 2, 1923, in Holtville, Calif., to Alex and Ivy Rumsey Meyer. She married John Fox on Aug. 24, 1942, in Holtville. He died Dec. 20, 1989.She worked as an executive secretary.Survivors include a son, John of Elmira; a sister, Beverly Kleyn of San Ramon, Calif.; and five grandchildren. A daughter, Susan C. Shreve, died previously.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to Camp Harlow.
