Obituary of Dolores Bales

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 19, at West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home for Dolores Bales of Eugene, who died June 12 of cancer at age 75.She was born Sept. 1, 1934, in Lemmon, S.D., to Larry and Josephine Crevier Berens. She married David C. Bales on Sept. 6, 1952 in Noti.She graduated from Elmira High School. She was a cook for the Eugene School District and a partner in Royal Refuse Services Inc.Survivors include her husband; two sons, Brian of Eugene and Scott of Veneta; two sisters, Deanna Berens of Springfield and Darlene Markle of Dease Lake, B.C.; a brother, Darcel of Eugene; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.Remembrances to Hospice of Lane County.
