Gary KnowlesDRAIN — Gary Lee Knowles of Drain died June 20 of renal failure. He was 54. A celebration of life will be held at a later date at the Drain Community Center.He was born July 13, 1955, in Eugene to Arthur and Joana Roseacker Knowles. He married Ethel Matarazzo on Dec. 15, 1978, in Turkey.A graduate of Willamette High School, Knowles served in the Air Force during Vietnam. He held an associate’s degree in finance from the University of Nevada. He worked as an insurance agent and a registered financial representative.Survivors include his wife; a son, Joseph of Drain; and a brother, Brian of Auburn, Wash.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
