Obituary of Jacob Moch

The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 21, at St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Dexter for Jacob “Jake” Moch of Pleasant Hill, who died June 11 of age related causes. He was 95.He was born Sept. 5, 1914, in Kintyre, N.D., to Jacob and Katharina Horner Moch. He married Frieda Frey on Sept. 5, 1939, in North Dakota. She died July 15, 2004.He was a farmer.Survivors include four daughters, Evonne Lock Man of Corvallis, Teresa Moch of Pleasant Hill, Mary Lou Moch of Redmond and Carla Zylins of Sisters; seven sons, Robert of Dexter, David and Rickie, both of Eugene, Lawrence of Keizer and Vincent, Kenneth and Kevin, all of Pleasant Hill; two sisters, Tillie Kinsman of Onalaska, Wash., and Theresa Sperle of Seaside, Calif.; 23 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Two daughters, Frances Thorn and Patricia Moch, and two sons, Leon and Jerry, died previously. Arrangements by Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.
