Obituary of Gertrude McKee

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 25, at Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene for Gertrude Florence McKee of Junction City, who died June 22 of complications from Alzheimer’s disease. She was 90.She was born May 25, 1920, in Buffalo, Okla., to Sam and Mae Price Bohard. She married Claude McKee on Oct. 14, 1940, in Greeley, Colo. He died April 3, 2002.She worked as a school cook and at Eugene Fruitgrowers.Survivors include a daughter, Claudette Hooker of Junction City; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.Burial will be at Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene.
