Obituary of Fern Eileen Little

Eileen was born April 30, in Akron, OH, to Clark C. Wiley and Olive Ella Reninger, the first of seven children. She married Richard (Dick) W. Little in 1945, and spent the next 21 years in the Navy living at bases here and abroad. During this time, she had four children.Eileen was an athlete; playing softball and pitching at age 55, an outstanding bowler, and won the Ladies Club Championship at Shadow Hills where she was a long time member. She loved hunting and fishing, usually catching the first and biggest fish.A talented woman, Eileen enjoyed oil painting, gardening (she was amazing, bringing many of our sick plants back to health), and cooking. We have fond memories of family gatherings every time we use one of her recipes.Richard passed away in 2010. Eileen is survived by her children; Richard (Linda) Little, Jr., Joy (Phil) Snow, David (Anne) Little, and Jan (Brad) Gent,9 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
