Obituary of Doris Brookover

ELMIRA — Doris Mae Brookover of Elmira died July 6 of age-related causes at age 80. No service is planned.She was born Sept. 17, 1929, in Canada to Theodore and Mary Bruna Genskie.She received her high school diploma. She was a homemaker.Survivors include two daughters, Cheryle Rignell of Elmira and Denise Arnold of Mountlake Terrace, Wash.; a son, Richard Vaughn of Eugene; two sisters, Viola Reese of Riverside, Calif., and Virginia Stills of Chula Vista, Calif.; and three grandchildren.Her husband of 30 years, Harold Brookover, died June 2, 1995.Arrangements by Chapel of Memories Funeral Home in Eugene.
