Obituary of Geneva Carmichael

Geneva “Jean” Carmichael of Eugene died July 9 of age-related causes at age 92. A private burial will be held later.She was born Aug. 4, 1917, in Noti to Claude and Margaret Stough Loper. She married Norman Aird in 1937 in Eugene. She married Ogden Carmichael in 1959 in Eugene. He died in 1989. She graduated from Eugene High School in 1935. She was a homemaker.Survivors include a daughter, Carol Harmon of Veneta; a son, James Aird of Azalea; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. Two grandsons, Gary Benninger and Scott Aird, died previously.Arrangements by West Lawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home. Remembrances to Greenhill Humane Society.
