Obituary of Marjorie Clark

A memorial service will be held on January 13, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. for Marjorie L. Clark of Eugene, who died on January 5, 2017, of age related causes at the age of 78. Marjorie was born in Eugene on July 23, 1938, to Robin and Irene Stoneberg and grew up in Coburg where she graduated from high school in 1956. She married Donald V. Clark on October 14, 1956 in Coburg. She worked as a medical receptionist, housekeeper, and care provider. Her hobbies were writing poetry and songs. Many of her poems have been published and appear on the internet. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include her two daughters; Carol Bowlin of Salem and Susan Clark Muntean of Asheville, NC; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Daniel Stoneberg of Monroe and Richard Stoneberg of Corvallis; and a sister, Nancy Gilkeson of Winchester. She is preceeded in passing by her husband Donald Clark and brother Alvin Stoneberg. Visitation will be held at Lane Memorial Funeral Home on Thursday, January 12, 2017, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The memorial service will be held at the Church of Christ, 2424 Norkenzie Road in Eugene on Friday, January 13, 2017, at 1:00 p.m.
