Obituary of Willie Pitts

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 13, at Springfield Memorial Funeral Home for Willie Mildred Pitts of Junction City, who died July 8 of age-related causes. She was 95.She was born March 26, 1915, in Clarksville, Texas, to William and Mattie Sue Saunders Jackson. She married Leroy Brown, who died in 1968. She then married David Pitts on Oct. 22, 1973, in Eugene. He died on Sept. 13, 1994.She was a housekeeper at Sacred Heart Hospital.Survivors include a stepdaughter, Gwendolyn Brown of Roseburg; and five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.Arrangements by Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.
