Obituary of Beatrice Trudell

A celebration of life will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, July 17, at the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Springfield for Beatrice Josephine “Betty” Trudell of Cottage Grove, who died July 7 of age-related causes. She was 87.She was born April 23, 1923, in Cottage Grove to Moximo and Hazel Linn Carey Perini. She married three times. All three men she married died previously.She worked in a moulding manufacturing plant, owned a restaurant and worked in the logging business. She was a member of the VFW Post 3965 Ladies Auxiliary.Survivors include a son, Jon Leitzel of La Pine; a daughter, Tana Baker of Springfield; two sisters, Maxine Eldridge of Eugene and Patricia Ringdahl of Reedsport; six grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Davis; and a grandson, Nick Leitzel.
