Obituary of Virginia Fails

Virginia A. Fails of Springfield died June 29 of age-related causes at age 82. No service is planned.She was born Aug. 18, 1927, in Eugene to William and Evelyn Jones Dickens. She married Julius Fails on Dec. 20, 1952, in Springfield. He died in January 1997.A Springfield High School graduate, she operated a child care service for 35 years.Survivors include two sons, Jerry of Springfield and Mark of Eugene; a daughter, Patty Coleman of Aloha; a brother, Robert Dickens of Eugene; and five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.Arrangements by Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.
