Obituary of Delores Proudfit

Delores ProudfitA memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Eugene for Delores Rae “Lois” Proudfit of Eugene, who died July 19 of stroke-related causes. She was 79.She was born July 20, 1930, in Rosiclare, Ill., to Wiley and Helen Clark Cochran. She married Keith Proudfit on July 29, 1950, in Eugene.She graduated from Rosiclare High School and attended Fullerton Junior College in Fullerton, Calif. She was a homemaker and worked for Lane Community College in the admissions office.Survivors include her husband; two sons, Brett of Keizer and Todd of Eugene; a daughter, Julie Dover of Bend; a sister, Joan Flanery of Wheelersburg, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.Inurnment will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland. Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to the Trinity United Methodist Endowment Fund.
