Obituary of Eleanor Gasper

Eleanor GasperA memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 16, at Musgrove Family Mortuary for Eleanor Gasper of Eugene, who died Aug. 12 of age-related causes. She was 88.She was born Feb. 11, 1922, in Redfield, S.D., to William and Bertha Schwab Fleming. She married Howard Gasper in San Juan Capistrano, Calif.She was a postmaster and owned the Finn Rock grocery store. She also worked as a caregiver at Solvang Retirement Community in Eugene.Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Gail Robinson of Corvallis and Julicq Fleming of Seaside; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary.
