Obituary of Rozell Getts

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 29, at West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene for Rozell Juanita Getts of Sherwood, formerly of Lane County, who died Aug. 22 of heart failure. She was 83.She was born Jan. 11, 1927, in Cement, Okla., to William and Mamie Bales Robertson. She married Walter Getts on June 23, 1946, in Reno, Nev. He died March 11, 2007.She was a homemaker.Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Getts of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; two sisters, Velma Scharen of Springfield and Dorotha Temple of Sherwood; and one grandchild. A son, Tommy Getts, died previously.
