Ralph HaynesALVADORE — A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 31, at Musgrove Family Mortuary for Ralph Douglas “Father Ralph” Haynes of Alvadore, who died July 25 of kidney failure. He was 76. A memorial and communion service will be held at 1 p.m. Oct. 2 at the chapel at Eternal Hills Memorial Park in Oceanside, Calif.He was born Oct. 31, 1933, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to Stanley and Muriel Arkless Haynes.He earned a bachelors degree from the University of Toronto, a masters degree from Wycliffe College Seminary and a doctorate from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, Calif. He was a rector of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Eugene and served other churches as an Episcopal priest for 50 years.Survivors include his wife Anne; two sons, William and Stephen; two daughters, Laurie and Wendy; and four grandchildren.Inurning will be at 2 p.m. Oct. 2 at Eternal Hills Memorial Park in Oceanside.
