Obituary of Geraldine Neal

SPRINGFIELD — The graveside funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, at Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene for Geraldine F. Neal of Springfield, who died Sept. 6 of pneumonia. She was 84.She was born May 24, 1926, in Litchfield, Minn., to Roy and Lydia Schultz Anderson. She married Junior Neal in January 1950. They were divorced in 1973.She graduated from high school in Litchfield. She was a homemaker and worked at the Montgomery Ward department store for more than 15 years.Survivors include two daughters, Christine McReynolds and Shirley Garner, both of Junction City; four sisters, Joyce Thompson of Novato, Calif., June Dahlhauser of Weatherford, Texas, Barbara Letsom of Cottage Grove and Mary Lou Garrett of Drain; a brother, Wes Anderson of Springfield; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.Arrangements by Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene.
