Mae BalderstoneMae H. Balderstone of Eugene died Sept. 15 of age-related causes. She was 99. A memorial service is planned later at Cascade Manor.She was born May 13, 1911, in Brandon, Minn., to Carl and Mary Johnson Bolin. She married Howard Balderstone on Sept. 5, 1941, in Brandon. He died May 27, 1997.She held a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from St. Cloud State College. She worked in various rural schoolhouses in Minnesota and Bend.Survivors include a daughter, Donna Bennett of Eugene; and four grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
