Dortha GaskinThe funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, at Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene for Dortha N. Gaskin of Eugene, who died Sept. 15 of age-related causes. She was 85. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. today at the funeral homeShe was born Dec. 20, 1924, in Sentinel, Okla., to Clarence and Mary Powers Wyatt. She married Merv Gaskin on Feb. 26, 1943, in Reno, Nev.She was a homemaker.Survivors include her husband; a son, Larry of Eugene; two brothers, Albert Wyatt of Cave Junction and Neil “Buck” Wyatt of Carson City, Nev.; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A son, Richard Gaskin, died in 1988.Entombment will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mount Vernon Memorial Park in Fair Oaks, Calif. Remembrances to Hospice of the Sacred Heart.
