Obituary of Vera Farley

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, at Open Bible Fellowship in Eugene for Vera Olive Farley of Eugene, who died Sept. 11 of age-related causes. She was 96.She was born Oct. 18, 1913, in Bloomfield, Iowa, to James and Nellie Acton Arnold. She married Everett Farley on July 18, 1932, in Lancaster, Mo. He died Oct. 14, 1986.She graduated from Washington Rural School in Mark, Iowa, and was a homemaker.Survivors include two sons, Russell of Eugene and Phillip of Springfield; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. A great-grandson, Russell Farley, died Aug. 24, 1998.Entombment will be at West Lawn Memorial Park in Eugene. Arrangements by West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene.
